dried oranges - slices from 2 oranges
cinnamon sticks - about 10
rose-hips - about 1 cup
cloves - about 1/4 cup
evergreen sprigs
pine cones

To dry orange slices, cut each slice about 1/3 inch thick. Place on cookie sheet in a 200° oven for several hours or until all the moisture has left the slice. You can also dry them in a dehydrator, if you have one.

To dry the orange peel. Just peel the rind off the orange and place on the cookie sheet. Dry in the same way and the orange slices. but the rind will not take nearly as long to dry. Start checking it at about 1 hour of cooking time.

Now you are ready to combine the ingredients and close in a plastic bag for several days to let the scents blend.

Place in a basket or bowl and enjoy.
