In fact, you can cut the saturated and total fat in most recipes by substituting Canola Oil for some of the solid fats your recipe calls for. As a general rule, use 3/4 cup of Canola Oil to replace 1 cup of solid fat. Canola Oil will make a delicious, moist cake or cookie that's about 10 percent lower in overall fat.
