smile.gif Now this is a cool item to use, and it is easy to use, and you can use for anytime of the day. So if you have never tried this item before, put it on your next shopping list to pick up. You should be able to find it in the freezer area where pies are found. If not ask for it, and the cost will be around $3.

So what is it? A stack of paper thin sheets of pastry. You can use it in the sheets it comes in or cut them to different shapes. Make it with fruit for breakfast, or with cooked meat for dinner, or pudding for a treat. There is no end to the ideas for this item.

Here is something to try, tiny jelly filled tarts.
First make sure the Fillo Dough is thawed first.
Turn the oven on to 350 degrees.
Melt some butter in a cup and have a brush ready to use.
Take out two cookie sheet pans. One for putting the fillo sheets on to make the tarts on, and one to put the tarts on to put into the oven.
Take out your pick of jelly, you can even use the ones with fruit.
Take out your sugar, you can even use colored sugar to make it more fun.
Now your ready.
Lay a sheet on the pan.
Brush the top and bottom in a row. (you don't need to use a lot of butter - you could even use the spray kind)
Then fold the top over by 1/3, and then fold the bottom up 1/3 so it lays on top. You should now have a stack of three sheets.
At one end you want to put a full teaspoon of jelly, but you want to be able to take the corner and fold it over the jelly to make a triangle. Pinch the open end a little so the jelly will not leak out. Now fold the triangle down the rest of the sheet back and forth to the end.
You should now have a tiny triangle tart.
Put it on the cookie sheet for the oven and make some more.
When your done making them, brush a little butter on top of each one and sprinkle on your sugar. Pop them in the oven until the dough is golden brown.
They are great cold or hot (but remember the jelly inside when hot can burn you) so watch that first bite.
You could even put one or two with ice-cream smile.gif

So let us know what you think of this cool item, and what you make with.
Now brush that with a little butter.
