Ingredients ::
  • 1 (5 pound) boneless ham, cooked
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup orange marmalade
  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup toasted pecans, chopped

Glaze:
In a small saucepan combine the syrup and marmalade. Heat and stir until bubbly. Whisk in butter until smooth. Stir in the pecans. Glaze makes: 2 cups

The Ham:
Place the ham on a rack in a shallow baking pan. Score the top of the ham with a knife to make a diamond pattern, making cuts 1/4 inch deep into the ham.

Insert a meat thermometer in the ham.

Bake in a 325 degree oven for about 2 hours OR until thermometer registers 140 degrees F. and the ham is heated through.

During the last 15 minutes of baking, brush the ham with the glaze.

Heat any remaining glaze and serve with the ham, or make a second batch of the glaze for serving.


Note: baked pineapple slices are also a nice extra touch attached to the outside of the ham with toothpicks.
