Ingredients ::
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 package (3 oz.) oriental ramen noodles
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 2/3 cup veg. oil
  • 3 Tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 2 package romaine lettuce
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 1 bag sugar snap peas (optional)
  • 1 can drained, mandarin oranges (optional)

Melt butter, brown the almonds and crumbled noodles in the butter; let cool.

For the dressing, whisk together the milk, oil, sugar, seasoning packet form the noodles, vinegar and sugar. Set aside.

In a large bowl, mix the browned almonds and noodles with the romaine lettuce and green onions. Add the salad dressing just before serving.

Start with half the dressing and add more as desired. Top with sugar snap peas and oranges if you like.
