Ingredients ::
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1 (15 oz.) can pumpkin
- 1 (12 oz.) evaporated milk
- 1 (9 inch) deep dish pie crust, unbaked

In a bowl, mix sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves.
Add eggs and beat slightly.
Add the corn syrup, pumpkin, and evaporated milk; blend well.
Pour pumpkin filling into the pie crust.
Bake in a 425 degree oven for 15 minutes.
Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees and continue baking for 40 to 50 minutes, or until when a knife is inserted in the pie center comes out clean.
Cool for at least 2 hours before serving.
