Ingredients ::
  • 12 pack sausage patties
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 8 tart apples, cored and cut into 1/2 inch rings

Makes: 6 servings (at 2 patties per person)

In a large skillet, fry the sausage until done. Remove to a serving platter and keep warm.

heat the syrup and wine to a boil in a medium saucepan. Add the apples; and reduce the heat. Simmer uncovered until the apples are crisp tender, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and with a slotted spoon, lift out apples and arrange on the platter with the sausage.

Boil the syrup for t minute; then pour over the sausage and apples.

Serve immediately. (English muffins would be good with this if you like).
