Ingredients ::
- 1-1/2 pounds round steak cut into thin strips
- 2 Tablespoons oil
- 1 cup sliced onions
- 1 cup converted rice
- 1 can (10-1/2 oz.) beef broth
- 1 can water
- 3 Tablespoons soy sause (or to taste)
- 1 can mushrooms (optional)

Makes: 4 to 6 servings
In a frying pan, brown the beef in oil.
Then stir everything else in, bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and cook over a low heat untill the liquid is absorbed, about 30 minutes.
