Ingredients ::
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup
- 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
- 1 package yellow cake mix
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 stick butter OR margarine, chilled

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan.
Spread the pineapple with it's syrup evenly in the prepared pan.
Spoon the pie filling evenly over the pineapple.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the fruit.
Then sprinkle the chopped nuts over the cake mix.
Slice the cold butter into thin slices, sthen put the pieces evenly over the top of the nuts.
Put into the oven and bake for 50 minutes OR until golden brown.
Remove from oven with oven mitts OR have an adult help you.
Let it cool a little before cutting it, but serve warm.
