Ingredients ::
  • Crust:
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1-1/4 cup flour
  • Filling:
  • 2 (8 oz.) packages softened cream cheese
  • 2/3 cup sugar, divided
  • 2 Tablespoons flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup peeled, chopped apples
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup caramel topping
  • 1/4 cup pecans

Crust:
In a bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Then blend in the eggs. Add flour, mix well. Spread dough onto the bottom and us the sides of a 9 inch pring form pan. Bake in a 450 degree oven for 10 minutes.

Filling:
In another bowl, combine the cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar and flour, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer, until well blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in the sour cream.

In a bowl, toss the apples with the remaining sugar and cinnamon. Then stir them into the cream cheese mixture. Pour into the crust. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour.

Loosen the cake from the rim of the pan; cool before removing the rim from the pan.

Chill.

Top with caramel topping and pecans at time of serving.
