Ingredients ::
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 (4.3 oz.) box instant vanilla pudding
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 (16 oz.) can strawberry pie filling
- 1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip
- chopped nuts (optional)

Makes: 16 to 20 servings
Great idea for parties.
Prepare the cake mix per directions on the box. Use a 9 x 13 inch pan to bake it in. Bake per directions, and let cool.
Prepare the pudding mix per directions on the box. Let it cool.
Once everything is cool you can put the dish together. You will need a large glass bowl or punch bowl (it shows off the colors if the bowl is clear).
Cut the cake into medium sized chunks.
Now your ready to layer the items into the bowl.
Layer half of each item:
cake chunks
pudding
pineapple
strawberry filling
Cool Whip
chopped nuts
Then repeat the layers.
Keep this refrigerated until you want to serve it, and refrigerate left-overs.
