Ingredients ::
  • 1 pound fresh OR frozen green beans
  • 1 cup grated carrot (about 2 carrots)
  • 1/4 cup roasted sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup Oriental dressing (regular Italian works well, too)

Prep time: 1-1/2 hours before serving.



If you are using fresh green beans, prepare for cooking and steam them for about 10 minutes.

If using frozen, prepare according to the directions on the package.

Drain beans thoroughly after cooking them.

While warm, mix with grated carrots and sunflower seeds, then add the dressing and mix again.

Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
