At home, at school, at church, a store, or concert, at work, or any place you go each and everyday you could be in danger.
There is no reason at all to panic, because it may never happen to you.
But what would you?
Take a good look around your surrounding and ask yourself and others, what would you do if there was a fire, a flood, a tornado or even a car accident? What if you get seperated, or lost?
Just because you walk into a place, this does not mean it is the only way out, so check around for other nearby exits.
Learn the fire safety procedures and never ignore a fire drill! Remember if there is a fire, crawl to the nearest exit, keeping your head close to the floor (cover mouth with your clothes when you can). Smoke rises. Only open doors that are cool to the touch, and always close them behind you. If you should fall in a crowd, lie in the fetal position and cover your head to prevent injuiries, until you can move again across the floor.
Do you know how to call 911? They will ask you for your name, and where you are and what is wrong. You need to tell them what they need to know to help you.
So take the time to look around for a safe way out.
Practice drills with others.

You could save your life or even someone else.
