Ingredients ::
- 4 center cut pork chops, 1/2 inch thick
- 2 Tablespoons butter OR margarine
- 2/3 cup regular rice (NOT instant rice)
- 1/2 cup sliced selery
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 cups chicken bouillon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon sage
- 2 medium apples, peeled and sliced

Makes; 4 servings
In a skillet, brown the pork chops slowly in butter; then set aside on a plate and keep warm.
Now saute the rice, celery and onions in the skillet with the pork chop drippings, stirring constantly until the rice browns lightly.
Add bouion, salt and sage to the rice; and bring to a boil.
Stir in the apple slices.
Pour the mixture into a long cake pan or baking dish; arrange the pork chops ontop and cover.
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Remove the cover from the pan and bake for 30 more minutes OR until the pork chops are tender.
