Ingredients ::
  • 2 pounds asparagus, washed and ends snapped
  • 1/4 cup buter
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Description ::

Lay the asparagus spears in a shallow pan; cover with salted boiling water. Bring to a boil; simmer for 8 minutes. Drain and turn into a buttered ramekin.

In a saucepan, melt the butter; stir in the wine. Pour mixture over the asparagus.

Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Bake in a 425 degree oven for 15 minutes.
