Ingredients ::
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
  • Filling:
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1-1/4 cups chopped pecans
  • Topping:
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Note: This did take 2nd place at the 1st Thresheree Event

In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, salt, vanilla and egg; to make the filling. Mix well, spread into the bottom of the pie shell. Sprinkle the pecans on top.

In another bowl, combine the topping eggs, sugar, corn syrup and vanilla. Gently pour mixture over the pacans.

Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes, until firm.
