Ingredients ::
- 1 cup vanilla wafers
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 1/3 cup margarine, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
- 1-1/2 cups (2 pound can) crushed pineapple
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 Tablespoon cornstarch

Note: Make this the night before you want to serve it.
Mix the wafers, sugar and margarine together and press into a 9 inch pie pan. Bake in oven at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes.
In a bowl, beat milk, pudding mix and ice cream slowly until blended, about 1 to 2 minutes. Pour this into the cooled crust. Refrigerate pie crust while you make the glaze.
Combine the pineapple, sugar and cornstarch in a small heavy saucepan. Cook over a low heat, stirring constantly until thick. Cool. Then spoon mixture over pie. Chill overnight.
