Ingredients ::
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 to 1-1/2 Lbs. fresh asparagus, trimmed, cut into 1 inch pieces and cooked OR 1 package frozen asparagus
- 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 pounds chicken breast, cooked and cut into 1 inch pieces
- 2 (16 oz.) jars prepared white sauce
- pimiento
- 8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese

Optional note: substitue the ham for the chicken; roasted red peppers or sliced olives for the pimiento, and if desired sprinkle with paprika after baking.
Cook lasagna noodles to desired doneness and drain.
Spray the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan with a non stick cooking spray.
Spread 1/2 cup of sauce on the bottom of the pan.
Layer in order:
noodles
half chicken
half asparagus
white sauce
pimento
1/3 shredded cheese
Repeat layers.
Top with lasagna noodles, 1/2 cup white sauce, 1/3 cup shredded cheese.
Bake in a 350 degreen oven, covered for 45 to 50 minutes.
