Ingredients ::
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cups tomatoes
- 1 Tablespoon flour
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- asparagus, spears, cooked
From: Betty Ann Wolfgram, of West Bend, WI
Fry onions and pepper for 2 minutes, in a fry pan.
Then add the flour and tomatoes to the pan; stir.
Cook until you have a thickened sauce.
Then add the cheese and season well to taste.
Pour the sauce over the hot cooked asparagus.
