Ingredients ::
- cake:
- 1-1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 egg
- 1 cup sour milk
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/2 cup finely chopped rhubarb
- Butter Sauce:
- 1 cup cream
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon flour
- 1 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Combine all the cake ingredients in a bowl; pour into a 9 x 13 inch pan.
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a sauce pan combine the butter sauce ingredients, and cook for 5 minutes.
Serve butter sauce on warm cake.
