Ingredients ::
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup wheat germ
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 cup lightly packed brown sugar
- 1 cup butter milk
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1/4 cup canola oil

Makes: 1 loaf
Combine the flour, wheat germ, baking powder, sesame seeds, baking soda, poppy seeds, salt, egg, and brown sugar; in a mixing bowl. Stir well to blend.
In a smaller bowl, combine the egg, buttermilk, and oil together, add this to the dry ingredients, stir until moistened.
Pour batter into a greased 9 by 5 inch loaf pan.
Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes.
