Ingredients ::
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 Tablespoon melted butter

Danish Pancake

In a bowl, beat eggs and sugar together.

Sift the flour, cardamom and salt and add to egg mixture. Blend thoroughly.

Add milk and melted butter, beat until smooth.

Melt a small amount of butter in fry pan.

Add batter. Tilt the pan and roll the batter around so it covers the bottom of the pan with a thin layer.

Fry on both sides until set like a crepe. (Turn pancake with spatula.)

They are served spread with jelly or powdered sugar and rolled.
