Ingredients ::
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 Tablespoon shortening
- 1 package dry yeast dissolved in 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 extra cup warm water
- 4 cups flour

Makes: 2
Put al of the ingredients into a large bowl.
Stir thoroughly every 10 minutes for 1 hour.
Take dough out of the bowl. Divide and form into two balls.
Roll each ball like a belly roll (the long way).
Using a sharp knife (be careful) to score (cut lines) on top of the bread four times.
Let the bread rise on a greased pan. (do not let them touch)
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes.
Make sure to use hot pads to remove bread from oven when done.
