That was an English class I did enjoy, and English was not a class most kids enjoyed.

Here is something I wrote back then for a diagnostic theme - Alcohol

To me alcohol being used in high school is very rare. I feel that the kids know better and don't come to school drunk. If a student was to come drunk he or she should be suspended. Students old enough should not drink on their free half or bring alcohol to school.

Alcohol before proms or other events is not a good idea either. If they must drink then let them drink afterwards, away from the school. I don't think it would be a good idea to have alcohol at parties because some how it would be a abused.

Wow, little did I know then, I too would fall in my senior year to alcohol. A few of my friends got together under the creek bridge by school after lunch to drink. Since I was of age (18) then to drink it was no big deal, but it was! I liked to drink Pink Champagne and when that was gone I had one of my friends beer. Well that was my deadly mistake because I totally blacked out, I had no idea of what happened next. I do thank God for the friends I had, things could have gone so wrong for me, I could have been raped if this had happened with other people. They could have left me there and who knows what might have happened. But I put such a scare into my friends and I am so sorry for that. They did the right thing and took me back to school to get me help. Sure I got into trouble at school and with my parents but I was alive! I was really blessed with friends who cared.

I did not think that I would really use this class outside of school, but a class I could pass. To my surprise these days, I find myself spending hours writing and building this web site with all kinds of interesting stories for others to enjoy.
