Ingredients ::
  • red apples
  • 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 Tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoons chopped nuts

Hollow out the apples, leaving the thinnest shell possible.

Cut 1/2 inch petals halfway down shell.

Let stand in ice water to curl back.

Cut pieces of apples into cubes; then marinate them with lemon juice and salt, in a bowl.

Mix in the mayonnaise to the apple mixture.

Add the nuts to the apple mixture just before serving.

Fill the apple shells with the apple mixture and serve it on a place with lettuce.
