Ingredients ::
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 (15 oz.) can solid-pack pumpkin
- 3-1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon baking

Makes: 2 loafs
In a large bowl, combine the sugar, oil and eggs.
Add the pumpkin and mix well.
In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and baking powder, salt and cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and allspice.
Add the pumpkin mixture alternately with the water to the flour mixture, beating well after each addition.
Pour batter into two greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 60 to 65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool in pans, for 10 minutes, then remove loafs from pans onto a wire rack to cool completely.
