Born from the idea to keep the fun flowing, the after party caters to the younger generations.
Now the bride and groom and the old gang can let it all out. Time for the couple to have more time with their friends.
So when the clock strikes twelve, and the reception is over, think of what you would like to do afterwards to relax and have fun.
Keep your core group in mind and limit the guest list. You can make invites for this or even put a sign on the door of the hall saying "after party is at", so your friends will know where to continue the fun with you. It could be at a bar or dance club, pool hall, bowling alley or late night restaurant. There could even be another room adjoining the reception hall depending on where you have it. You could even have a pool party, if your reception is in a hotel where your guests already have rooms for the night. Or how about having a karaoke machine for some wild fun (you may want a video camera for these memories).
Any way you look at it this after party will have priceless memories for all to remember.
