Originated by Consumer: Before I toss out my doughboy points, I would like to know why you would stop this, and I can only guess it will be because of the cost? Collecting points is fun for all ages and getting to order something cool and getting it in the mail makes it all worth it. I am sad to see this program end, and as a consumer upset with your company for it. It should not be wrong to give something back to the consumers who look forward to buying your products.

So now what?: I guess I can toss out my points since that question was not answered, and not worry about buying General Mills products when I go shopping!
Since this letter I have also found out that Kool-Aid points are no more, they have stopped putting their points on packages and all points must be redeemed by June 30, 2010. Now after 25 years of collecting points with these companies the fun comes to a stop.
