Ingredients ::
- 8 large cabbage leaves
- 1 can (10-3/4 oz.) condensed tomato soup, divided
- 1 Lb. ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Makes: 4 servings
Cook cabbage in a pot of salted water on the stove, for a few minutes to soften; drain.
In a large bowl, mix 2 tablespoons soup with the beef, rice, onion, egg, salt and pepper.
Divide the meat mixture into 8; among the cabbage leaves; fold in the sides and roll up (secure with a toothpick, if necessary).
In a skillet, place the cabbage rolls, with the seam side down; pour remaining soup over them. Cover and cook over a low heat for 40 minutes.
Stir occasionally, spooning the sauce over the rolls.
