One 12 x 4-inch foam cone
Aluminum foil
One 4-inch foam ball
Toothpicks
Glue (low heat gun, non-toxic craft glue, glue stick or confectioners' glue)
Three 12-inch white paper doilies
One T pin
3 to 4 bags (13 oz. each) HERSHEY'S HUGS Chocolates
Cardboard
Yellow curling ribbon
Blue and red felt
1. Cut 2 inches off the tip of the foam cone to create a flat base for the angel's head to rest. Cover cone with foil. Attach 4-inch foam ball; secure with toothpicks and glue.
2. To create wings, make a single cut in each of 2 doilies from the outside edge to the center; create a fan with accordion folds. Attach fan to each side of the angel using a T pin. Decorate cone with chocolates by gluing their flat side against the foil covered cone.
3. Cut a moon shape out of the cardboard for the halo that will rest on the angel's head. Cover with paper doilies; glue chocolates to halo. Set on the angel's head. Cover the back of the head with chocolates. Finish by adding curled pieces of ribbon for hair; tie ribbon around her neck and attach felt eyes and mouth with a dab of glue.
