Ingredients ::
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 2 (13-3/4 oz.) cans chicken broth
- 1 (16 oz.) package frozen cauliflower, carrot and broccoli mix
- 2 (10 oz.) packages frozen cauliflower
- 1 teaspoon salt
- dash of black pepper
- 2 teaspoons parsley flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon monosodium glutamate, optional
- 2 cups half and half
- 3 Tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup warm water

Makes: 8 to 10 servings
Saute onion in margarine in stock pot.
Add broth and bring to a boil.
Stir in frozen vegetables, salt, pepper, parsley, nutmeg and mono-sodium glutamate.
Bring to a boil, covered, reduce heat and simmer for 5 to 8 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Add half and half.
Dissolve cornstarch in water and add to soup.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
