Ingredients ::
- 1-1/2 Lbs. round steak, cut in thin strips
- 1-1/2 Tablespoons oil
- 2 onions, cut in 1/2 inch slices and separated
- 4 oz. can sliced mushrooms, reserving juice
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup dry sherry
- 1-1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
- cooked rice

Note, try it over noodles, or potatoes, or even toast for something different.
In a skillet brown round steak in oil over medium heat.
Add onions and saute until tender.
In a bowl blend, soup, sherry, liquid from mushrooms and garlic salt. Pour over steak.
Add mushrooms; cover and simmer for 1 hour or until steak is tender.
Serve over hot rice.
