I am sad to say this sweet little pet has passed away tonight. Kaytee was loved and had a warm home to live. She will live on in my daughters heart. My daughter was once told that animals do not go to heaven by a nun. Maybe animals do not go to heaven, but I would like to believe that the love a human gives an animal at the time that animal is named makes the difference. That animal is no longer unknown but a pet, a member of the family, a co-worker, a companion, a playmate, your best friend, and even a hero. I think that if there is a heaven that these pets would be welcomed too. If we believe that God made these beautiful wonders we call animals, would he not want to surround himself with them. Rest in peace Kaytee.
