Ingredients ::
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups raspberries (sweetened and drained)

Cream together butter, sugar, egg and vanilla in a bowl.

In another bowl, mix together, flour, salt and baking soda. Gradually add to butter mixture alternating with milk.

Put in a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan.

Then spread raspberries evenly over the cake mixture.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 to 35 minutes.

Frost with a confectioner frosting while it is still lukewarm.
