Ingredients ::
  • 2 Lbs. sirloin or fillet
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons flour
  • 5 Tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups beef stock
  • 1/2 cup cabernet sauvignon
  • 3 Tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 Tablespoons tomato paste
  • 3 Tablespoons finely grated onion
  • cooked noodles

Cut beef into thin slices and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

In a saucepan, blend flour with 2 tablespoons of butter. Gradually stir in beef stock and wine, cooking until mixture thickens. Add sour cream alternately with tomato paste, stirring constantly.

Simmer, but do not boil.

In a skillet, saute beef strips and onion in the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter. Then add meet to the sauce, mixing thoroughly. Simmer 3 to 5 minutes.

Serve over noodles.
