Ingredients ::
- 1 can (10-1/2 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 cup cut-up cooked turkey (or other meat)
- 1 can (16 oz.) green beans, drained
- 1/4 cup shredded process American cheese
- 4 egg yolks, well beaten
- 4 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Makes: 6 servings
A dish where you can use 1 cup of any left over meat, or can of veggies, you can even change the cream of mushroom soup to a different type of cream soup. This recipe can be made so many different ways.
In a greased 1-1/2 quart casserole dish, blend soup, milk, turkey and beans. Bake uncovered for 10 minutes in oven at 375 degrees.
Stir cheese into bowl with egg yolks, then fold into bowl of egg whites. Pile egg mixture over the hot soup mixture. Bake for another 30 minutes.
