Ingredients ::
- 1 can (17 oz.) sweet potatoes
- 1 can (8-1/2 oz.) sliced pineapple (drained and reserve syrup)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 2 Tablespoons soft butter
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Makes: 4 servings
In a 8 inch square foil pan, alternate sweet potatoes and sliced pineapple.
Mix reserved pineapple syrup, brown sugar, butter and salt; then sprinkle on potatoes and pineapple.
Place pan on rack in broiler pan.
Broil for 10 minutes.
Serve hot.
