Victorian Sugar Cookies Mix
1 cup sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
4 ½ cups flour
Blend flour, salt, cream of tartar, and baking soda. Funnel mixture into quart jar to form the first layer. Next layer sugar, then the powdered sugar. Decorate jar as desired.

1 jar Victorian Sugar Cookies Mix
1 cup butter
1 cup oil
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Mix well. Blend all ingredients together, chill. With floured hands, shape into balls and place on cookie sheet, flatten with bottom of chilled glass dipped in sugar. Sprinkle with colored sugar. Bake at 350°F until edges are golden.
