Equipment needed:

apple core
apple peeler if you don't like the pears outer skin
blender or food processor
4 paper cups (5 oz. size)
4 wooden sticks
scissor
aluminum foil to cover 4 paper cups

******

Remember it is a good idea to have an adult available for help and for safety.

******

Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth.

Pour the mix into the 4 paper cups evenly.

With the scissor cut 4 squares from the aluminum foil to cover each cup. Then cut a small hole in the center of each square for the wooden stick to fit through.

Place the foil squares over each cup and fold down the sides for the foil to stay on the cups.

Then insert a wooden stick through the foil hole into each cup.

Freeze the cups for 4 to 6 hours or until they are firm.

To serve, remove the foil and then tear the paper cup from the popsicles.

Enjoy a cool treat that's good for you too :)
