Ingredients ::
  • 1 shank of beef
  • 6 tomatoes peeled and chopped
  • 1 quart raw corn
  • seasoning
  • 1/2 pint buttered beans
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 quart mashed potatoes
Description ::
You could use the meat from 2 squirrels or 1 hen!

Prep time: at least 4 hours before serving

Put meat in large pot. Cover with 1/2 gallon water. Stew until bones can be removed.

Then pour in the beans, tomatoes, onion, corn and potatoes. Cook until well done and can be eaten with a fork. Season well.

Serve with bread.
