Ingredients ::
- 2-1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- vanilla frosting (homemade or purchased)
- sprinkles, sugar, or candy to decorate
Unknown how many cookies it will make because of the size of cookie cutters used.
In medium bowl, combine flour and sugar. Stir in melted butter, egg and vanilla until well blended. Cover and
refrigerate for about 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 350°.
Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
Roll dough out on lightly floured surface to 1/4 inch thick. Cut into shapes with cookie cutters. Bake 8-10 minutes. Allow to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire rack to cool completely.
Decorate by gently spreading frosting over cooled cookies and then desired decorations.
