Ingredients ::
  • 1 (6-oz. pkg.) Nestle® Toll House Semi-Sweet Morsels
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup sifted confectioner's sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • Confectioner's sugar (optional)

  • CHERRY WHIPPED CREAM:
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons creme de cacao
  • 1 (1 Lb. 5-oz.) can dark sweet pitted cherries, well drained

Preheat oven to 325°F.

Melt over hot (not boiling) water, Nestle* Toll House® Semi-
Sweet Morsels; stir until morsels melt and mixture is smooth.

In large bowl, beat egg yolks until thick and lemon colored, about 5 minutes. Add melted chocolate, sour cream and confectioner's sugar; set aside.

In small bowl, beat egg whites until frothy; add water, beating until stiff peaks form. Fold into chocolate mixture.

In 10 inch oven-proof skillet, melt butter or margarine. Pour in chocolate mixture; spread to edges.

Reduce heat to low; cook 6 minutes. Remove from heat.

Place in oven and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven. Loosen omelet around edges and invert onto warm platter. Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar, if desired.
Serve immediately with Cherry Whipped Cream.

CHERRY WHIPPED CREAM:
In small bowl, beat heavy cream until soft peaks form. Add creme de cacao, beat until stiff peaks form. Fold in cherries.
